Waheed Ahmed founded Pesticon Pest Control in 2001, drawing on an academic background in agricultural science — including a Master’s degree from the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad — to build one of Toronto’s most trusted pest management companies. With over 20 years of hands-on field experience, Waheed’s technical knowledge spans the full range of urban pest species found in Ontario: Norway rats, roof rats, German and Oriental cockroaches, bed bugs, carpenter ants, pavement ants, and seasonal overwintering pests. He holds an Ontario Exterminator Licence (L-206-3036976351) and personally oversees the training program that keeps Pesticon’s technician team current on IPM protocols and Health Canada–approved treatment standards.
